ANOTHER SIDE OF A MAN

A man's true behaviour and atitude changes at four stages in his life; first is when he is rich, successful and on top of his game. Second is when he is down, weak and poor, while the third is when he is single. The last is when he is married. Sons of Adam display all kinds of behaviours and attitude at these different stages; they seems to change all the time!

Read along as I share Aunty Bolatito's story with you....

My aunt, a beautiful, brilliant and lanky lady; studied Economics in the University Of Nigeria , Nsukka. There at Orientation Camp in Lagos, she met her heartrob, Omoviere. The duo's love story started the first moment they set eyes on each other. Thier love grows like a watered-plant. Though, ucle Omo wasn't a Yoruba man , the family still accepted him unconditionally.

Aunt Bolatito and Omo got married two years after their youth corp, and by then my aunt had decided stiches and needles was her way. And she was successful in it, being a trendy fashion- minded lady herself. Uncle Omo on the other hand works in a big Agro-allied company in Ikeja. He rose through ranks as he was deligent, competent and smart. He was successful, more succesful you could say. Fortunately, three years after their union, God blessed them with twins, both boys. Oh! how I adore them. They were so cute, and both their parent and grand parents adores and over- indulge them.

All things seems to be going towards happy ever after, until funny stuffs started happening. Daddy Twins changed! There I belief success could get in people's head!

Hnmmmmmm....

Daddy twins started going on frequent and helluva business trips and conferences - in and out of the country. Aunt Bola was okay with it at first until she realized her husband has changed in everyway possible.....Trouble was brewing, I knew!

Commotion ensued that unfortunate day when daddy twins went on a supposed business trip to Abuja, however, my aunt had a bridal delivery to make to a client at Orange plaza. To cut the long story short, aunty bumped into her husband, who was flanked by another lady.

The blessed home of which I had always hoped for myself shattered into pieces. Trust and companionship long gone, respect, love and harmony hence, was over- shadowed by hatred, contempt and instability.

And one day, daddy twins left his home of which he built with sweat, love and hapinness. At that junction, I recognized the thin line betweeen ''sweet'' and ''sour''

From then onward Aunt Bola raised her boys single handedly, though the familiy was always there for her...However, fifteen years after, my aunt recieved a mysterios phone call... I could still recall the cold look on my aunt's weathered face. Daddy twins had called to say he missed the boys and wanted to see them..... to be continued!
